A moment is a medieval unit of time equal to 1.5 minutes or 1/40 of an hour [1]. In modern English it usually refers to a short period of time.

Rega

In the Hebrew calendar, a moment (rega) is 1/76 of a part (chelek), or 5/114 of a second in standard units. When measuring the length of a year in the Hebrew calendar, the number of regaim is a whole number, and divisible by 4 (so that the year can be divided into 4 seasons) Why Divide Hours into 1080 Parts?
